Meet the Coaches

Lisa Arsenault - Head Coach

Lisa Arsenault swam competitively in Gardner, MA, and served as captain of the swim team at Bridgewater State College.  She has developed her skills coaching recreational and developmental swimmers and has coached several competitive swimmers to success at Regional and New England Championships.  Coach  Arsenault's skills lie in teaching young swimmers proper technique and ensuring that workouts include a measure of fun to keep them interested in the sport.   Coach Arsenault is also ASCA certified.

Dr. Lori Corcoran

Lori comes to the coaching staff with a long list of accomplishment and achievements both as a swimmer and coach. Dr. Corcoran began her competitive swimming career at 9 which took her all the way through to Captain of her UMASS- Amherst swim team while qualifying for NCAA championships. Lori has coached many team including Worcester Girls Club and Central Mass Cyclones and was selected to coach the Deaf Olympics in 1992. As a swimmer, coach, official, and swim parent of multiple USA Swimming Sectional swimmers, Lori brings an unmatched wealth of knowledge and experience to the coaching staff. Coupling her credentials as a swimmer and coach, Lori has also earned in PhD in Education Policy for UMASS – Amherst.

Marc Surette

Marc Surette has been involved in swimming as an athlete and a coach.  He swam competitively while growing up in Gardner, MA, and has six years experience coaching swimmers aged 9 to 16.  He is very skilled in building relationships with young teens and coaching them to reach beyond what they believe is achievable, not only in swimming, but also in their academic studies and other endeavors.  Coach Surette is American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) certified.  In five seasons he has coached three New England Age Group Championships, eleven New England Age Group Champion swimmers, seven Zone swimmers and a Sectional qualifier.  In 1998, he was selected by New England Swimming as the New England Zone Assistant Coach for the Eastern Zone meet in Baltimore, MD.
